“An artist in cloth is influenced by the human heart”
My name is Cindy and I am a szab’ono”, a Hungarian dressmaker and tailoress.
My apprenticeship started with The Singer Co. and other local tailors and seamstresses. I received an Apparel Designer Degree from The Clarissa School of Design in Pittsburgh.
I opened my own company, Cinderella's Bridals. We offered retail/custom bridal gowns and custom costuming. After 3 years of success, we had to close the shop due to flooding. Since then, I have worked as a sewing consultant and instructor with local businesses such as Franciscan University of Steubenville, JoAnn Fabrics, Eastern Gateway Community College, Fabian Tailors, and more. I created the business, Kayleebug Alterations, in 2015 to keep up with the demand of sewing services. It has been an honor providing the finest sewing and professional alteration services in the Ohio Valley.
We are excited to announce our newest advancement of Kayleebug Alterations - the addition of custom suit tailoring! Our business is now "Steubenville Tailorings & Alterations", and offers everything that Kayleebug Alterations serviced plus more. We specialize in custom suits or can recycle an old suit. We are proud of the services that we now provide and look forward to many fresh advancements in the upcoming years.
